so it's a two-for! Playback on the fly and decrypting for the Rip! The added benefit, is for ripping in JRiver, I believe you need AnyDVD to decrypt and allow for the copy to the HD. When you click a BD in your drive it decrypts it and passes it off to JRiver slick as shite! You install the app and it loads on startup. The problem I perceive with it is I found you couldn't "stream" the BD on the fly. He suggested DVDFab, but I struggled with it. so what to do? Well Jimmy got me going with using BD Decryption Software. I really want to have JRiver on my system because of the Audio Features, but it wouldn't play BD's natively. The Arcsoft software is like playing a BD from a BD Player. Yes you can purchase something like PowerDVD (many times comes with a new Blu-Ray Drive) or better yet ArcSoft's TotalMedia Theater, both of which license the decryption. So here's my experience and albeit, limited understanding. Much thanks to JimmyNeutrino for helping me though this, and I think I have it dialed in now. Seems it's not as straight forward as it might seem because Sony locks down their format and most company's don't license the playback decryption. I thought I'd start yet another thread to highlight getting this to work so there is a title to search on. I had a thread going on my connections for my Server and it evolved into how to get a Blu-ray to work on a PC.
